Louisiana's fifteen Habitat for Humanity Affiliates that serve 30 parishes in the state have built more than 1,900 modest, affordable homes in
Louisiana. Habitat Partner families purchase their homes through no-profit, no-interest mortgages. Habitat is a hand-up not a hand-out! Our partner families must complete all program requirements including sweat equity and homebuyer education and financial literacy courses prior to purchasing a Habitat Home. State-wide Support
In 2005, all of the Louisiana Habitat Community Affiliates formed Louisiana
